The Urban Stripmall didn't start as a luxury brand. It started as an idea — a belief that the neighborhood shopping experience deserved to exist online. We launched as Discount'd Accessories, an online shoes and accessories store, and from that foundation we began to build something larger: an open-source retail and entertainment platform designed to give small businesses and independent vendors a home on the internet.
Over the years, USM grew to host multiple vendors across categories including Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, Jewelry, Entertainment, Books, Audio, Video, and more. We welcomed vendors, connected shoppers across the globe, and worked to build one of the most recognized independent online retail communities on the internet.
Those early experiences helped us refine our approach. Today, we offer a more thoughtfully organized marketplace while continuing to welcome people with products, services, resale merchandise, and entrepreneurial ideas. Our aim is to help independent sellers and established vendors present their offerings professionally.

Approved vendors can receive a dedicated storefront and product or service presentation, with self-managed or USM-assisted setup options. Sellers retain responsibility for their offerings, prices, payments, and fulfillment.
