More than three decades later, basketball’s best and brightest are again gathering in the Windy City—and the AJIII is back, too. Taking a cue from beloved local teams, the upper arrives dressed in fire red, complemented by hits of black and cement grey. The style pays further tribute to Chi-town with altered branding on each heel.
Launching as part of Nike’s NBA All-Star 2020 Collection, this Air Jordan 3 Retro SP ‘Unite’ colorway is a Chicago-exclusive release, marked by ‘NIKE CHI’ branding on the black heel panel. The rest of the design is unchanged from the general-release edition of the shoe, featuring a tumbled leather upper in Fire Red. The kicks are finished with signature AJ3 details, including visible Air cushioning and elephant-print overlays at the toe and heel.
